Set sail from the charming port of Krk on a four-hour coastal voyage that reveals a side of the island most visitors never see. Your captain navigates past the Negrit cape and Tranjevo lighthouse, threading between hidden coves and golden-sand beaches accessible only from the water.

Two swimming stops let you get into the clear Adriatic water: first at the well-known Golden Beach, then inside the Blue Cave on Plavnik island, where light refracts through an underwater passage to paint the rocks in shades of electric blue. Along the way, keep your eyes open for dolphins near the fish farm and griffon vultures soaring above the cliffs.

Route itinerary

  1. Krk — Flexible Departure (Flexible start) — Please arrive at the boat 15 minutes before your agreed departure time. From the city of Krk we make a four-hour panoramic run towards Puntarska Draga, then along the western coast of Krk south of Punta. This route reaches hidden beaches you can only get to by sea. We pass the Negrit cape and Tranjevo lighthouse towards Lisičnjak Cove and the Golden Beach, with the coastline open the whole way.
  2. Golden Beach — Swimming Break (35 min) — After 45 minutes of cruising we reach the Golden Beach for a 35-minute swimming break. Get into the sea by the boat ladders. The beach is known for the way sunlight catches its golden-hued rocks, and for clear water that is easy to swim in.
  3. Scenic Cruise to Oprna — Oprna is one of the finest beaches on Krk, set in a quiet cove near Stara Baška. From Oprna you get the panoramic view of Stara Baška, the southernmost settlement on the western coast of Krk.
  4. Kormati Island — Continuing on, we turn towards Kormat, known for its seagull colony. Watching the gulls flock around the boat is one of the small highlights of the day.
  5. Blue Cave — Swimming Break (45 min) — We head towards the island of Plavnik, home to the renowned Blue Cave hidden along its coast. Named for its striking shades of blue, caused by the reflection of the sea on its rocks, the cave boasts an open vault entrance accessible through a passage between the rocks.
  6. Return to Krk — We sail alongside the towering cliffs on the western coast of Plavnik, inhabited by griffon vultures. Along the route lies a fish farm, often serving as a meeting point with dolphins. Arriving at the port of Krk provides an excellent opportunity to capture photographs of the city from a maritime perspective.

The €680 full-day tour is a more custom version of the four-hour route. We keep the same Krk and Plavnik highlights, then add two more places based on the day’s sea, your group, and what you want more of: swimming, quiet coves, views, or time on deck.

The exact extra stops are chosen with the captain before departure. The start time is flexible, the pace is slower, and the extra two hours give the route room to feel personal instead of rushed.

Route itinerary

  1. Krk — Flexible Departure (Flexible start) — Please arrive at the boat 15 minutes before your agreed departure time. The captain confirms the day’s plan with you, then leaves Krk harbour towards the western coastline.
  2. Signature 4-Hour Route (Core route) — We follow the same core route as the four-hour tour: Golden Beach, Oprna, Kormati, Plavnik, and the Blue Cave when sea conditions allow.
  3. Extra Custom Stop 1 — The first extra place is chosen with the captain based on wind, water clarity, and your group’s preference: another swim spot, a quieter cove, or a scenic island view.
  4. Extra Custom Stop 2 — The second extra place gives the six-hour tour its custom feel. We can use it for more swimming, more time on anchor, or a slower island-hopping line.
  5. More Time in the Water (Extra time) — The longer tour gives swim stops more room. Nothing needs to be rushed, and the captain can adapt the route as the sea changes.
  6. Relaxed Return to Krk — Return to Krk at an easy pace, with time for harbour photos from the sea and a final view of the coastline.
